It was a long day, Kairis tried not to show her exhaustion and in fact she suprised herself that she was even able to keep up at all, let alone stay in stride with her partner. they weaved in and out of the forest, staying mainly on two different paths until the sent got stronger and then Kairis just followed diligently behind Atlas letting him lead the way and decide when they were close enough to confront the wolf.
Her heart sped up faster at the thought of confrontation with the wolf that they were hunting. Images of the two tones brute ripping out an unkown wolves throat flashed in her mind and she blinked it away and half halted before continuing shortly. Atlas slowed down and Kairis could sent that this wolf was close, they had been on the trail together for two whole days, let alone how long Atlas had been on it by himself.
"I have to confront him. It could be dangerous if he is aggressive. I think you should wait nearby."
Kairis hid the small frown that slipped onto her facial expression but she nodded her head obediently. She trusted Atlas' word to her so she followed a little more before stopping under a tree as the path widened a little and lead up to the ridge of trees. The foresty wasn't thick so Kairis had to be careful to not let Atlas see her as she headed a different direction to follow him. If he wanted to he could probably sent her on the wind but it was unlikely Kairis thought because he would be focused and getting to the other male wolf.. she wanted Atlas to think she was being good and staying in spot.
She followed and the sent got closer so she slowed down. From her position she could see Atlas a ways in front of her and possibly the target though she wasn't entirely sure of it herself. Instinctively her hackles rose and she felt like she should be at Atlas' flank to back him up... but she waited instead in the dense undergrowth. Her emerald sea green eyes piercing the dark as she concentrated and waited to see how things would go down. Kairis was ready to leap out to help him imediately if anything went wrong.
"be careful Atlas.." Kairis whispered to herself as she lowered her head and stalked forwards a couple more steps anxiously hoping that neither wolf would spot her but it was possible...

Atlas crept up the last few yards of the ridge, closing in on his quarry. He was silent on his big paws, and as soon as the wolf came into sight, he stopped.
The wolf was alone, he could see that. It was a reddish brown male. He sat under a tree, licking his paws. Atlas wasted no more time. He did not leap out or rush at the wolf, but sauntered out calmly, with a hint of sucspicion in his face. The wolf sat up and noticed him, his eyes wide. He had not heard or smelled Atlas and was very surprised. Atlas stopped and faced him from several yards away. He noticed the wolf's orange eyes and a strange contraption around his neck. He could also tell the wolf was much older than himself.
"Good evening," the wolf said, and gave a nod. "Something I can do for you?"
Atlas nodded back.
"Give me your name." He said.
The wolf looked skeptical and a bit worried, but he blinked and said, "Well, my name is Rebus. Do you always approach new wolves this way?" Then he smiled a little. But Atlas did not.
"I approach all traitors this way." Atlas moved closer. "Rebus. Do you have a brother?"
Rebus was now very confused and quite concerned about this situation. He shifted around and began looking at different directions in case he needed to escape. But he stayed, and answered.
"Well, yes, a brother and two sisters, but how would you know?"
"What is his name?"
Rebus looked at Atlas for a long time, still not knowing what to make of this foreign wolf.
"You are a blunt young wolf, and quite odd; But if you must know, my brother's name is Benik. Or was, I'm not sure if he's still-"
Rebus never finished. His words were cut short as a blur of a wolf leapt upon him. Atlas saw red. He bared his teeth, and snarling, seized Rebus' ruff. He slung the older wolf around on his side and pounced, biting for the throat. The strange collar blocked his teeth, and Rebus clamped onto Altas' foreleg. The two toned wolf tore it from his jaws and sunk his teeth into the pelt of Rebus' underbelly. He shook his head violently until it ripped, causing Rebus to yelp. Blood gushed from the wound, but the older wolf managed to get up and made a lunge at Atlas, tearing his ear. Atlas knew to finish the wolf he needed to get him down. Again he grabbed Rebus and slung him to the ground. He bit at thee collar trying to move it, while Rebus bit at his muzzle, marking it with crimson stripes. For a while they were locked, snarling and growling and snapping, making the most horrible noise. Then, it broke. The radio collar popped free of Rebus, and fell to the ground. Atlas dove for the throat and caught it. He held it, biting down with pounds of force, until Rebus stopped moving.
Atlas rose up ater several minutes, Battered and bloody, but victorious. Rebus, the hated brother of his Alpha, Benik, was now dead.

Kairis held her breath as the watched the confrontation unravel in front of her. It saddened the female to see the stranger so oblivious to his doom. Part of her wanted to cry out but she knew much better than to even think twice aobut it. She didn't know this Rebus wolf and maybe he had commited a huge crime that she did not know of. Kairis would not ask though, the thought of a wolf being killed for something minor would gnaw at her concious too much so the white wolf talked herself into believing that Atlas was doing the right thing...
She turned away and closed her eyes trying to focus on the sounds of the rabbits and of the birds hoping from branch to branch trying to drown out the sound of the wolves violently fighting, killing as a matter of fact. 3... 2....1... and it was over. The sound of the struggling older wolf had faded away and the small wolf shuddered as if she was the one who had commited the crime. To her, she practically had, her nose had helped Atlas find the stranger and Kairis whined under her breath before turning around and her eyes were imediately drawn to the battered and lifeless body. It sucked the breath out of her and it took nearly all her strength to peel her eyes off of the body and put them on Atlas.
The male was battered. Blood dripped from his muzzle, some of it his and some of it the other wolf's. His face was scratched up from teeth and claw marks as the two were locked in battle. Kairis wondered if his light colored fur would stain at all.
Stepping out of the bushes she walked forwards to meet Atlas, and for some reason she could not bring herself to look him in the eyes. She had seen wolves die before but never at the jaws of another wolf.. and for that matter a wolf she had respect for.. So instead she looked at his nose, studying its dark pigment. Part of the female wondered if Atlas would just toss her away, with a parting such as the job is done, you are free to go. Or, if you dare speak a word of this to any other wolf I will rip your jugular out with my own teeth, understood?
suddenly she trembled again and swallowed a lump though rose into her throat and waited for what the male would say. Would he also scold her like a pup for not following orders to stay put?

Atlas stood over the body, breathing heavily for a moment. He turned and began to go back down the ridge but stopped as he realized the leg which Rebus had bitten down on hurt him very much. He limped a ways until he noticed that Kairis was not at the bottom where he'd left her, but nearby, in the bushes. She had most likely seen the whole ordeal. She walked up to meet him, but kept her eyes lowered. He stopped for a second, wondering what Kairis must think of him. He sat down, too tired to stand, and glanced up at her before looking down at the ground. He was silent for a while, and washed his leg with his tongue before speaking. "You saw." He stated. He wasn't surprised that Kairis had crept up closer to watch. She would hardly be a wolf if she wasn't curious. "He was my alpha's brother. Alpha Benik told me of the many horrible crimes he had committed. So horrible, that I wont tell you. But I will say that I did not mind killing him." Atlas sighed. He wanted to curl up and sleep. The long day of endless tracking and the final battle had used him up. "I am sorry if the fight upset you, but it was necessary." He thought about his mission. There were still four more traitors to find. He knew he could use Kairis' help, especially now that he was somewhat injured. "I would still like your help finding the rest of the traitors, but only if you are willing. If the . . . killing makes you uncomfortable, I will understand if you decide to leave." He straightened bolt upright, wondering what Kairis would decide. He wondered if she thought he was a monster. He wondered if she thought he was cruel. He didn't know if he would ever make Kairis understand the importance of these executions. How could she? She was an outsider, unfamiliar with the ways of the pack, unable to grasp the fierce loyalty and devotion that filled Atlas. "What is your decision?"

The silence lingered between the two wolves for a few precious moments as it seemed as if Atlas was collecting his thoughts. Kairis took her time in noticing his wounded leg and it showed when he he walked with a limp. Just another battle wound to add to his collection she thought...
Listening to him explain the tratiors actions caused Kairis to nod her head in agreement. The female was starting to learn from Atlas that rules were rules and that for him he didn't know any different life or way to act. It was imprinted in his very being and he had been raised to act to athority without question.
"I am sorry if the fight upset you, but it was necessary."
the white wolf tilted her head and brought herself to attention. This wolf was apologizing to her in case he may have upset her? Kairis felt slightly embarassed, she had never been apologized to before even for actions that would rightly deserve and apology. A slight light heartedness filled her when she thought that maybe this tough wolf may have a gentler side she had yet to experience...
"It's ok Atlas, I understand that it must be done... for your pack.." Kairis stated and exhaled a breath of unease, she was not happy that a wolf had died but she was not going to question Atlas's intentions either. With that, the male also asked her if she wanted to continue on with him in search of the other wolves and that her nose might be a great asset to them. Kairis smiled slyly and watched as the male sat bolt upright expecting an asnwer and Kairis wondered if he wanted her to go for more reasons than one..
"Yes, Atlas I think that I would like to help you in your search for the other wolves... I have no other plans for this coming season and I might as well put myself to good use in helping others... thats what I do best." Kairis chuckled lightly and tilted her head to the right letting her green eyes settle on Atlas's eyes. When she looked at the brute, she did not see a monster, or a cold blooded killer. The intelligent female had a feeling that there was much, much more to him than the tough solider like exterior that he wore ever so well. She could see a couple cracks in his shell and wondered what the real Atlas is like, not the one ruled by absolute loyalty to a pack that was not family, not a home. Just a place to be.
"Is your leg going to be ok? and its getting late out, maybe we should think on settling for the night?" Her soft tone pierced the air as she glanced down on his wounded leg once more and hoped that infection would not set in.

Something inside the big two-toned wolf jumped as he heard Kairis' answer. Yes. She said yes. An unexplainable joy coursed through him, but only for a moment, for he quickly checked his emotions and stifled them. Pushing his feelings deep down into his inner depths was not easy, and it caused him to quiver ever so slightly. She looked at him with her green eyes, and they effected him so much, that he turned away. He was relieved that she was not repulsed by him and his actions, which he had been sure was going to drive her away. He was glad to know that she seemed to understand his position, or was at least trying to. "Is your leg going to be OK? and its getting late out, maybe we should think on settling for the night?" Atlas ran his tongue over the sore puncture in his foreleg once more. "I think I will heal fairly well, It's just sore. Tomorrow it should be better. I've had wounds like this before. As for settling . . ."He snuffled through the foliage close by and quickly found a cozy looking pile of leaves. "This looks about right," He said "For sleeping."He pawed the leaves a bit, to get them just right. He was so tired. He was sure Kairis was too, they had both been loping all day. He curled up, without much enthusiasm, and plopped down, his eyes already becoming drowsy. It was then he noticed the biting chill one gets from the night air when one doesn't move very much. It crept in through his fall fur, which was not thick enough yet to keep it out. He instantly thought of the night before, and how warm it had been when he awoke next to Kairis. Against what every part of his military self told him, he spoke. "It would be . . . much better for us to sleep near one another to . . . conserve body heat. It would help neither of us if we woke up in the morning with cold achy joints."He knew he was inviting trouble. He knew how much he would like her closeness. He knew how risky and unruly this was. He knew that he was creeping closer to the edge. But he didn't care.

Kairis could just not understand this wolf. For a male so strong and athorative as he is, the white female noticed that he could not hold her gaze. She exhaled quickly and watched as he walked sorted though the foliage that layed on the ground not far away. Was he planning on sleeping there? Kairis flicked her ears back a bit unsure as he scratched up the leaves and then stettled down on them in an exhausted state. She could feel for him, Kairis knew how exhausted he must be since she had been there herself a couple of times. Watching the wolf start to drift to sleep made her tired too so she walked up to him and settled down a respectable distance away from him.
She wasn't sure what Atlas thought that morning when he woke up next to her, she could guess that he was probably shocked and taken a back... though a deep feeling inside of her longed for the feel of his fur against her nose and the warmth of his body radiating outwards towards her....
"It would be . . . much better for us to sleep near one another to . . . conserve body heat. It would help neither of us if we woke up in the morning with cold achy joints."
She lifted her head from her paws and looked directly at Atlas. Trying to keep her face emotionless, Kairis examined him closely for any signs of other intentions. The fae was shocked that he had just mentioned that when she had just been thinking about it. A warm feeling crept outwards from her tummy and Kairis had to practically bite her lip to keep a stupid wolfy grin off her face. Had Atlas maybe appreciated her body heat last night? She pondered but instead answered with "Thats a good idea, with the cold of winter settling in we don't want it to slow us down..."
Standing up she moved over to Atlas and layed down next to him. At first it felt akward and tense but Kairis closed her eyes and almost istantly felt the heat from him start to warm her up. It wasn't long before she relaxed a bit and kept telling herself that it was just for self preservation that there was no underlying means to it at all, even though Kairis hoped that maybe there was something to it... She stretched a bit and then turned and tucked her nose into the fur of his shoulder closing her eyes once more as she felt sleep start to take hold of her body..

Kairis looked up and stared at him after Atlas made his suggestion. He was worried perhaps he had overstepped himself. But the white female responded agreeably, and got up. She moved over and laid down next to him. Atlas felt a shiver race up his back and raise the hairs on his ears. He breathed ever softly, trying hard not to disturb her. He was stiff and nervous. After a while, the stiff feeling began to fade. She seemed relaxed and nuzzled her nose into his fur. Deep in the pit of his stomach, he felt a prickly hot sensation. She warmed him up instantly, in fact he was warm all over. After a few minutes, her breathing slowed and he was sure she was asleep. Slowly, he put his nose into the large fluffy white tail that she had wrapped around herself. It trapped his exhale, and he breathed in the warm air. She smelled lovely and he was so content that he sighed deeply. He slept silently and blackly, having no dreams. When he awoke, the light was just beginning to creep over the horizon. It was a very cold morning and a misty thick fog surrounded the two wolves. Atlas yawned, and a light whine escaped. He looked down at the leg Rebus had bitten. It was swollen, but not too sore. He was sure he could walk on it. He washed it with his tongue. Nothing much hindered Atlas, as he quickly moved around or pushed through whatever got in his way. However, fog was one of his least favorite things. It clogged the air and made it hard to track and hard to see. He looked around to see it was still heavy. Against his usual behavior, he felt he'd rather stay curled up sleeping until the sun was higher. He had been trained never to sleep late, as it was considered idle, but ha was beginning to realize that his pack rules couldn't be enforced out here where no one was. He could do whatever he wished. Betraying his training once more, he curled back up to sleep another hour.

The fog had lifted and it wasn't long before Kairis stirred and stretched slowly waking up. Frost twinkled on her whiskers and the wolftook her paw and rubbed it against her muzzle to rid herself of it. Sighing, she knew that winter was just around the corner and thought back to the years before of the malnutrition and cold that would seep through her bones. Luckily, some years in the past she had managed to stay with some fellow wolves who were kind enough to share their home with her and in return Kairis would hunt and help out with their pups and other wolf type duties.
She wondered to herself if she would have a place to stay with Atlas once winter set in... and then her heart dropped at the thought of him returning to his pack who was ruled by a tyrant in her opinion. Kairis would not let herself live in such a condition where there is no family, no kindness and the only one you could rely on was yourself. Catiously she got up, hoping not to wake the wolf who had done a good job of keeping her warm and she set off into the forest.
Finding a small stream, the white wolf dipped her muzzle into it and drank plentiful, the cold, fresh water woke her up some and she smiled with happiness. She may be underweight and scruffy looking but things could be a lot worse... Her radar like ears turned slightly at the sound of something in the bush and her hackles imediately rose up, a small growled exited her mouth and Kairis quickly sprinted away. She could have sworn she smelled a bear, and bears meant harm. She put lots of space between herself and the sent until she could not pick it up anymore then she relaxed and managed to catch herself a rabbit.
She carried it back to Atlas and started to eat it, only being able to finish it about half way and she thought she would wait until her partner woke up so he could have the rest of it. She carefully sat on guard as the sent of the bear had bothered her even though the female did not believe that it would come towards the smell of wolves either...

"Atlas,"
The two-toned wolf heard his name.
"Atlas."
He trembled.
"Atlas, you know that this is not allowed."
It was one of his brothers. All of his brothers were there. Odd, thought Atlas. They should have been busy running the border or hunting for the pack. Then Alpha Benik appeared.
"Atlas, You are a traitor."
"What?! Of course not-" Atlas protested. But his brothers silenced him. They produced from the darkness, a wolf. It was white. Atlas was instantly reminded of Kairis. Without warning his brothers attacked it, shedding it to bloody pieces.
"No!" Atlas ran to stop them. They suddenly turned on him, mouths bloody and snarling. "Traitor, traitor, traitor....."
"TRAITOR!"
Atlas jolted awake, gasping. He panted heavily, looking frantically around at his surroundings. He was in a leaf bed, alone in the woods. His breathing slowed as he realized he had only had another dream. He was beginning to dislike them very much. He did not see Kairis. He assumed she had wandered off for some breakfast. Atlas could see the fog had mostly lifted, but he did not get up. The dream was still fresh and shock trembled his muscles. He knew he must have had it because he was feeling guilty about drifting from the way of the pack. He was ashamed of himself. Perhaps being on one's own was a good way to determine if one was really worthy of the Argess way of life.
He got up and stretched, bowing his back and yawning. Kairis' scent lingered and he knew she was still nearby. The thought of her brightened his outlook and lifted the heaviness he felt. Then he felt the pain of crushing reality. Kairis would not be with him always. It was a thought that made him gloomy and depressed.
He turned his thoughts again to his mission. He had scented no other wolves besides Rebus in their tracking. Finding the others would prove to be most difficult. The only idea that came to him was to continue traveling and questioning rogue wolves and perhaps a even a pack. He started out to find Kairis.
As he went to leave, she entered the clearing, already having caught a rabbit.
"Good catch," Atlas said. "Did you see any other prey?"
He asked about food, but was still thinking of the mission. As he asked about other animals, an idea tickled his thoughts. It would not go away. He decided he would think it over thoroughly, and later, if he still thought it would work, he would explain it to Kairis. His eyes drifted to the branches.

The she wolf saw Atlas and watched over, the half eaten rabbit hanging from her jaws. She set it down and greeted the wolf with a nod of her femine head.
"I caught this rabbit and you can have the rest if you want Atlas, I am done with it," She spoke and set the rabbit down on the cold frosty earth. Its body was still warm as the blood trickled out of its puncture and tear wounds.
"I did sent a bear out in the forest, though I don't think it will be of any harm to us, and there was a faint trail of a stag though it was fairly old..." She added and pursed her eyebrows together in thought. Kairis wondered how they were going to pick up a trail of a different wolf and exactly how long it would take to find the wolf.
The wind was changing directions and the female frowned. She was sure that in the next couple of weeks there would be snow on the ground as the air was steadily getting colder by each and every day. To the point that there was still frost on the ground when she woke up. A quick glace upwards and she noticed that Atlas seemed content, or at least more content than when she had first met him. Kairis wondered if he was all tough.. something about him made her think that his soldier duties were just a cover up for the real wolf that lingered under its surface.. she was dying to find out more about that hidden wolf, to sit down and talk with it. She wondered if that wolf inside of him was shy, if he was loving, a natural leader? A smile spread onto her features and the white wolf wrapped her tail around her paws as she sat, left in thought and wonderment.
"So where to from here?" She asked hoping to put her mind on something else and fill in the silent air between them... even though Kairis was content on just being close to this male, even if it meant they did not speak.

Atlas took the rabbit half gratefully. "Thank you." He said and nodded.
Kairis told him she had scented bear and a stag trail. He could tell she was thinking as he saw her brows move. He turned his head upwards still thinking out his new idea. When he looked back, Kairis was sitting with her white tail wrapped around her, a smile on her face. She was so lovely that Atlas forgot about everything else and just looked at her.
"So where to from here?" Her question snapped him out of his stupor.
"Uh, ahem," He cleared his throat as well as his head. "Well, I have been thinking quite alot since last night, and I believe I have thought of a way to make the job of tracking alot simpler on us."
He looked up into the branches.
"In Argess, we are often led to prey by hungry ravens and crows. We'd bring down a kill and they would get a share of the meat when we were done. They were very adept at leading us to prey, and they are very smart, not to mention they can fly. I think that if I can find one willing to help us, and offer it a reward, we could get it to track the other traitors and find them by following the bird."
It was a unique idea, and Atlas was not completely sure it would work, but it was worth a try. He knew that if it didn't work, he would have to travel long distances constantly sniffing and searching. His best chance at finding them would be alone. If it didn't work, he would have to leave Kairis.
He put the thought out of his head.
This idea would work. He was sure of it. He had to be.
He explained to Kairis that first they would need to find a suitable bird. Atlas led the way through the trees, looking up into them. They went on for a while just looking and sniffing. There was no rush or hurry, and the walk was calm and leisurely. Atlas had never before been on a calm stroll before in his life, and he liked it. In Argess, there was always somewhere to be and something to be doing, something to be hunting, something to be guarding. There was never any time for relaxing or being calm. A loud noise brought him out of his thoughts. It was a tree. As Atlas peered into it, and he could see it was full of quorking ravens. Just what he'd been looking for.

A.... bird? The female looked at him quizically and flicked her ears back and forth a few times. She had heard rumors about birds helping wolves find food but she had never known it to be true. At first she snorted at the idea, birds were too simple minded to know the task that Atlas and her would be asking from them... She stopped. It wasn't really a fair way to think when she had hardly any experience with birds except to have to fight them off of a carcass and listen to their mindless beaking and scofting of her.
"Do you think it would really work?" she asked and lifted her one paw in question. The settled as he explained it to her.
She followed him as he casually walked through the foliage. Kairis kept close, curiously looking at him for any signs of what he was looking for and she trotted eagerly beside him and and smiled when they came up to the tree that hosted a large flock of ravens. Kairis swished her tail back and forth and watched the birds hop from branch to branch mindlessly chattering to each other.
Kairis took a chance and went to sit under the tree casually. She turned her white head and nodded then winked at Atlas before turning her attention back to the tree. It wasn't long before a few ravens had started to make its way down the tree towards her. "hello there." She stated friendly and waited for a reply.

The ravens were wary as the two wolves approached their tree. They let out a few warning calls, but did not fly away. Kairis went forward and sat under the tree. She acknowledged Atlas then looked up as a few flitted down to inspect her. "Hello there." She said. The black birds stared at her unmoving.
Atlas creased his eyebrows. This might be harder than he thought.
Then, one flapped around rustling the leaves, and glided down to perch on a boulder that sat inbetween he and Kairis. It seemed to want to be within eye level of them. It looked at her, and then at him. Finally, it spoke.
"Under feathers, there is meat. Do you plan to trick and eat?"
Atlas had never heard anything spoken in rhyme before and it took him by surprise. For a moment he ran the words over in his head. Apparantly the raven thought they wanted to catch and eat him.
"No," Atlas said. "we aren't interesting in eating any ravens."
The raven pecked at the rock it stood on, then clacked his beak. He flipped his head left and right, settling his eyes on each of the wolves, inspecting them.
"If for ravens, you don't care, What is it that holds you there?"
The second time, Atlas expected the funny pattern and understood it faster.
"We are looking for a raven to help us. A willing partner who will recieve payment in return for their help. Could you direct us to such a bird?"
The black raven cawed excitedly and beat his wings to make wind. He flew from the rock around Kairis and then around him. He soared high, then turned and came back. He dragged his feet across Kairis' head before alighting back atop the boulder. The other ravens watched, clearly entertained.
"Willing partner I will be, If there is reward for me."
Atlas nodded carefully at the bird, who reminded him of squirrel. "You will be provided with good meat for as long as you help, in return for your assistance." He said.
The raven quorked happily and hopped in a tiny circle.
"Your proposal I accept, Agree, do I, with your concept."
Atlas perked his ears and smiled, excited to have made progress so quickly. He knew these birds were a good idea.
"Very Good. I thank you very much. I am called Atlas," He motioned to the white female across from him."-and that is Kairs. What shall we call you?"
The bird sat blankly for a while, and Atlas thought he'd confused the creature. But then, he piped up.
"If give my name, I must do, I will give you Quidi-Too."
ooc--((Thanks again for your permisson to rhyme Anita! It makes him much more interesting, lol))

Kairis was astounded at how well the bird could communicate with Atlas and her. At the moment she felt slightly embarassed that she thought they were so simple minded and virtually useless. They way the raven taught fasinated the female and she tilted her head slightly to the side and eyed the black creatures feathers with interest. The way they shimmered was quite beautiful she thought.
She jumped slightly and was startled when the raven took flight. It swooped and flapped with excitment before aiming at her head and Kairis gasped not sure on what its intentions were. Its talons dragged across her skull and she let out a small growl trying to keep herself in control from leaping at it and making a light snack of the feathery, beaked animal. Maybe it wasn't so charming after all...
Those thoughts quickly disapeared when she heard that the raven was more than willing to help them for the promise of food. He seemed sincere so Kairis smiled slightly at its willing and eagerness. Glancing at Atlas she could tell that he also thought it was a good idea. Listening, she nodded at the bird when he stated his name and then walked over and sat next to Atlas.
"The journey might be long, are you ok with that?" she asked Quidi-Too and then looked at Atlas for guidance... Kairis had never really communicated with birds before so the situation was slightly odd for her. Unconsiously she moved closer to the two toned brute and leaned against him slightly. It seemed that the lonbger Kairis was around Atlas, the more comfortable she was getting. They had already accomplished more together than some partners who work together. She smiled to herself thinking about how smart they were together. The unstoppable team... Ha!!
