There all alone in the quiet, darkening night, sat all alone the small and fragile figure of a she wolf so long ago filled with an unbreakable zest and spirit for life. Her dreary and matted coat clunge to her malnurioused frame of bones like scales to a fish. she was wet and damp, sitting all alone under the meek protection of the willow tree. Often the she wolf had walked past this place and would stop to admire the rare sight of the fireflies that seemed to pause and enjoy the night with their lively dances and bright little souls. The sight of their simple, yet well arranged dance touched the white female as she would let the soft color of her black lips curl gently upwards in a smile.
Today was not one of those days unfortunately. Kairis was starving and the recent injury to her front leg when she had been pursuing a deer and it kicked her had flared up and her past wound of her front leg being torn open was acting up. She felt lame on both feet and her pasterns were swollen up almost twice their size. Her pretty face amd vibrant green eyes had mellowed out and seemed to lose their spark as she gazed half-heartedly up at the willow branches. Crystal clear white blankets of snow were on top of each branch, perfectly perched and balanced without a disturbance of a bird or wind all winter. at some points it would look ready to collaspe downwards on the fae as she watched it warily, not really feeling up to having cold snow fall on her already feeble and cold body. Wasn't she cold enough as it is?
Was the wind stopped, the branch swayed once more in a very casual and taunting way being becoming still again. Kairis let out a sigh of relief and closed her eyes letting her ears fall back against her skull with exhaustion. this winter she had told herself countless times to join a pack, to find another to spend winter with at least. But here she is, an aging fae with no place to call home, no friends, and no one to love her in return. In fact, she had just given up on love altogether. Everytime she would encounter "the one" it turned out to be a false alarm, a misperception on her part and it was always her heart to be broken. A sign that she was destined to a life without a family, to wander instead and bring hope to the ones who need it; when in reality Kairis is the one that could use a sign of hope the most because what did she had to keep her planted in life? That was nothing. Her adventures were almost over, she had come full circle in the laps she was making in the land. Not many more months and the white she wolf would be back to square one. Still homeless and without the greatest knowledge of life she had went out seeking for in the first place.
Just like that, her back leaned against the willow as she hoped to draw some inner support from the tree that had witness every emotion this wolf has gone through. If Kairis could call a tree a buddy; this one would be her best friend and it has never let her down. It was always standing when she would fall, silent when she would talk, and aklways there. Always there for her. In a deep and unstable breath filled with remorse and emotion, Kairis layed down under the shade of the willow and closed her eyes, wrapping her lanky tail around herself in a guesture to keep warm. Another gust of wind blew and it ruffled her fur slightly, and finally the snow gave way and plopped ontop of her skull with a wet, and harsh thump... Kairis was starting to wonder why on earth she was even still here.

Atlas moved at a quiet pace, trotting rhythmically through the new grasses. Spring was here. The wolf did not stop to admire the new life, but pressed on. Only a week had passed since he had left his pack, and already he was feeling empty. He had never in his 4 and a half years been without his pack. It was a new and strange feeling. Yet, somehow deep down, he felt an excitement for the freedom and curiosity of the unknown. He stopped and sat down to pull a bit of gravel from his frosty looking toes. When he had gotten it out he glanced briefly at his fore legs. Frosty was a good description. White hairs had begun replacing his dark brown ones. He had once been solid. He inwardly hoped it wouldn't get any worse. Before him, through the brush, he saw a strange type of tree he was not familiar with. From what he could see, it seemed the branches draped from its base trunk, creating quite an effect. Was it like that because it was dying? That couldn't possibly be it, it's leaves were green. Maybe it grew that way. In any case, he would investigate. He scaled the tiny slope, brushing past bushes and plants to get a good look at this tree. There, leaning on it, was something he had not expected. A wolf. Atlas knew at once she was female, for although a bit forlorn looking, she was still quite beautiful. Too beautiful to be a male. She was white with several matts hanging from her thin frame. She was just sitting, and Atlas saw something tragic in her face. Perhaps...Atlas thought, This was the treacherous Songbird, the wolf his alpha had sent him for. She was described to him as being beautiful, and this wolf was that. He wasted no time. Atlas leaped from the bushes and joined her under the strange tree. He stood tall and stared at her, his amber eyes catching light. He did not growl, nor did he flash fangs, but only gave her a stern stare that he had used on disobedient troops. He spoke, knowing his words were quite an intrusion. "State your name, and your business as of the past month."

Shaking the snow from her coat irratibly, the female glnaced sideways at the bushes and tree as she could sworn she saw a shape out of the corner of her vibrant green eyes. Her nose twitched slightly ad Kairis lifted one paw and swiped the side of her face where the snow was caught in her whiskers and then twitched them back and forth as she felt the cold snow melt on the end of her black nose.
The sent proceeded to fill her nostrils and Kairis tensed slightly, there was another wolf around but where? Earlier the female hgad checked to find this land was pretty desolate. Either this wolf was a good hider or a fast mover. The smell was male, of course it had to be male thought Kairis as she hoped that maybe, for just once in her life she would find condolance in another female figure.
"State your name, and your business as of the past month." She heard a deep toned voice state from behind her ear, angled slightly to her right.
The female spun around and stepped back at the sight of the brute. He was masculine but not over the top, toned and athorative by his stance and greeting. Her green eyes narrowed as she felt a bubble of anger rise to her surface and simmer on her skin. Who the hell did he think he was? The white female let her tail swish back and fro with irritation at such a greeting and wondered what ever happened to that fact of respect to females... obviously this brute did not aquire it.
"Why don't you state you name, and business of the past month while your at it." She snapped somewhat harshly, standing up as tall as she could and snorting in his direction. Normally, Kairis would just simply obey his command. To her there is not reason to start war and cause a fight. Today, alas was different. Kairis had no paitents for the crude, and undeserving wolves of the world and she had no fear at the moment while she stared a wolf down almost one third larger than she is.
She took a long look over his frame and came to the conclusion that he was a fighter. The faint scars hidden by his fur and the two tone split coloring of his face seemed to draw her in, soon the female found herself focusing on his dark lips that were etched around his muzzle and she blinked briefly in pause. This wolf was probably looking for someone and needed to be on his way, so with a sigh the white female neatly tucked her tail around her paws and perched lightly on her rump in the snow, her head tilted to the right and her gaze directed at the ground instead on the male. Staring at this handsome wolf with his well built frame and alluring coat and voice would not help her get her task accomplished any faster.
"My name is Kairis... Sir. As for what I have been up to this last month? Starving pretty much. Wandering this land and starving." Her peitie vocie seemed to trail off in thought as her sentence came to an end and her light eyes seemed to raise a silent question in the direction of the solider. She wanted to know what he was looking for and the curiousity could not be hidden very well on her face.

"My name is Kairis... Sir. As for what I have been up to this last month? Starving pretty much. Wandering this land and starving." The female stated, her voice as pretty as herself. Atlas had ignored her cranky retort, which he had fully expected to hear. Kairis...No where close to the name of Songbird. It wasn't a name he'd heard before. This wolf was also TOO white. Songbird had been described as a faded blonde, almost white, but not entirely. This was not her. Atlas inhaled deeply and his expression softened. He would have to apologize. He made a mental note to come up with a kinder and better way of questioning suspects. If he insulted them or spooked them, it could mean a chase, something he would rather avoid. "My apologies...Madam. I understand I was quite rude and intrusive. I'm searching for several, shall we say, treacherous criminals. One in particular. For a moment I thought you might be she, but I see now that you are not. Forgive me." He bowed his head to her then brought it back up to meet her eyes. They were green, and they hit Atlas like a kick in the guts. His stomach clenched and he suddenly felt very nervous. What was this? He shook off the feeling as much as he could, but he still felt hot, as if he were sitting in direct sunlight. He cleared his throat. "My name is Atlas." He said, and his heart thumped like a hammer against his ribs. "I...The-..." He swallowed. "Starving?" A primal urge ran down his spine, shocking him. Something made his ear twitch like a sonar. "Wait a moment." He said quickly, and bounded away through the bush. The foliage shook and rattled as Atlas streaked through it breaking branches and bumping trees. Several minutes later, he lumbered out, a skinny hare hanging from his jaws. He walked up to Kairis, with several leaves and burrs on his face, and dropped it. "Uh...well...here," He said looking at the ground." A peace offering of sorts." He didnt know what had come over him. He licked a bit of blood from around his mouth, thinking at the same time how graceful hers was.

(( sorry if this is really bad it's typed up on my iPhone )) One curious eyes raised after another as she listened with amusment as he spoke of her being a criminal. Kairis is probably the farthest thing from lingering on the dark side. With her black nose twitching she took his name into memory, Atlas. A name that suited a bounty hunter of sorts. It didn't make him hard, or soft, just more like himself as his brown coat moved slightly like hers did in the wind. She watched the same procedure as his voice got caught in his throat a lot like what the other males had done in the past. In fact, Kairis hardly noticed it anymore and just shook as the cold seeped through her damp and thinning pelt of white. Green eyes intently focused on the movement and disposition of the brute. With a word or two the male bounded off, saying something along the lines of wait here. A sigh escaped her black lined muzzle as she sat with a puzzled look upon her face. What was with males? And they say it's the females that are unpredictable. Her tail thumped the thawing ground once with amusment as the sent of his approach enlightened her for in his jaws he had a rabbit. Small, but a rabbit all the same. A quiet and gentle laugh slipped out as he dropped the fresh creature at her feet and she saw the leaves and burrs in his face. "I think I can accept your peace offering, Atlas" she said with a teasing tone, her starting to lighten as she bit into the rabbits flesh hungrily. It filled her aching stomach fast and Kairis soon found herself with a carcass at her feet, she felt somewhat ashamed that she didn't offer any to him, so instead she aimed a warm smile in his direction and uttered the words thank you and sat down on her haunches licking her muzzle. "So Atlas, may I ask what pack you are from? And have you found any of your criminals so far?" her quiet and gentle to e hung between them as the female counted to what social activity she could get.

Atlas sat a few feet away from the white female named Kairis. The effect her eyes'd had on him was discomforting and he pushed the feelings away. She had accepted his offering of the rabbit and had seemed to relish it. She thanked him pleasantly. "So Atlas, may I ask what pack you are from? And have you found any of your criminals so far?" She asked in her airy tone. Atlas sat, bolt upright as usual, and thought of what to say. "I'm a member of the Argess pack, over the mountains. We are about 30 strong at the moment." He looked down at the grass and then back up, dealing with the morbid assignment he'd been given. "As for the traitors, so far, I've only found one."He was silenced by the memory of killing the old loner that had hung around the edges of Argess territory. He had been banished by the alpha long ago, but had continued to hang around, unable and unwilling to leave. Atlas hadn't known the reason for his banishment, but he had been named among the wolves deserving death, and so Atlas did what he was told, and had promtly killed him. "My priority is Songbird, A wicked female. I am ordered to to kill her and the others."He wondered if Kairis would think him malicious or murdering. Of course he didn't see it that way. He was following orders. "These are treacherous wolves, deserving death by Argess' standards. I would never kill another wolf for spite."He didn't know the female's background or if she'd ever belonged to a pack. Most likely it wouldn't have been a pack like Argess. He had never known anything else but the superpack, but he was aware of its abnormality, and he knew that most other wolves did not live in such large packs or act with such military like form. He shrugged. "Following orders."

Argess pack... she thought and mused over thinking that she had breifly heard the name once or twice just in mild conversation with the few wolves she has ever encountered, nothing of extreme interest although the white fae looked up at the solider like wolf and examined his physique which was near perfect and figured that the Argess pack must be based on military training and style. it showed in the way Atlas presented himself to the smaller female and Kairis was somewhat impressed with his seeming disipline that was probably engraved into his personality.
She heard of how he had only caught one so far and that is where he left the sentence leaving the female to ponder on what had been done to the wolf he had captured. Was he or she dead? a small grimace nudged at the corner of her lips but the female did a pretty good job of keeping her poker face on as she listened to how he was ordered to kill the female and the others he was after which pretty much assured her that the other wolf he had said was caught was now dead, probably by the jaws of the dark male if the female was correct.
As he added on he would never kill a wolf for sprite, Kairis wondered if he just said that for her sake and if he would tell she was very slightly applauled by the fact he did as his alpha told him to. Kairis wondered if Atlas believed that those wolves should be put to death also. His seemingly redundance to the topic made Kairis twitch her ear in interest and gave her enough curiousity to open her mouth once more.
"So, do you as Atlas believe the wolves you are after should be put to death? ..." She let her words sink in as she examined his two tones face carefully for any hidden emotions he might express. "and why is it that you, are after the female? may I ask what she did?" the tone of the female was quiet but prying and Kairis cursed herself for too much interest into this topic. For all she knew he might have to kill her for knowing this type of information.

Atlas watched Kairis. She was taking in his answers. He wondered why she was so interested in his given duty. Maybe she was just very starved for socialization. He couldn't blame her, he'd been lonely before, but training had taken care of that.
"So, do you as Atlas believe the wolves you are after should be put to death? ..." She stopped for a moment, seeming to study him."and why is it that you, are after the female? may I ask what she did?"
Atlas raised his head slowly, looking down on Kairis. He tried to decide if he should be suspicious of her. After a moment, he concluded that the female's questions were harmless enough, and there was nothing she could possibly do to obstruct justice.
"Of course I belive they should be put to death. They are traitors. As for the female, Songbird, I know not what she has done, nor any of the others; but the alpha has declared them treacherous so treacherous they are. If the alpha had declared my own mother a traitor, she would be given death as well."
His words were harsh, even to himself, but they were true. The alpha was to be obeyed. The alpha was always right.
"The alpha is always right." He said sternly, repeating his thoughts. He turned to her.
"Do you not know this? Have you never been a member of a pack?"

Kairis's peitie ears twitched once or twice with amusement. No, she did not find the fact that the male wolf that sat at her paws had spilt blood, or the fact that he was hunting a wolf, female none the less without any knowledge of how she had wronged his pack Argess. Maybe it might have to do with the fact that the femme has spent barely two years in her birth pack and didn't know the rituals by heart, or maybe she might be one of the few true loners out there that has very little idea of how life in a pack is run but to her; this type of lifestyle sounded like imprisonment!
She sighed softly under her breath and let the cool spring air surround her muzzle and lips that were rimmed in black. It was a true shame that this two toned male Atlas was so good looking because Kairis did not want to scare him away or get on his bad side. Being as lonely as she is, the white fae did not want to see this solider go on his way so soon; but yet she could not keep her opinion inside her head either.
"Sir, I beg your pardon to my rude judgment and please correct me if I'm wrong but.. What if the injustice that this songbird has caused was taking food for her pups all alone in the rain, starving to death? Would you still kill her if you could see her side of the story?" Kairis spoke in a soft barely audible tone with a slight hint of passion. Her deep green eyes searched the brutes face for any sign of understanding and compassion before she continued.
"I know how wrong it is to steal but a big pack like yours must take up quite the amount of territory leaving not much free land for the wolves to prey on, I mean... If she even is a lone wolf. I guess what my biggest problem is that for an extremely intelligent (and handsome she thought to herself) wolf like you to be ordered around with no say or knowledge about the wolves you are hunting, isn't that like flying blindfolded?" she paused and let a slight smile creep onto her muzzle as she pictured Atlas bounding though a meadow with his eyes closed right into a tree. Kairis lowered her head slightly and anticipated anger at her next phrase but what has to be said is said.
"Atlas, please do not kill me for speaking of a free mind but imagine if your alpha was a traitor. An ignorant, selfish brute with. O compassion for his pack or anyone else. By following his orders you would be doing his dirty work and possibly spilling innocent blood on your paws for a prick...." Kairis's heart fluttered so fast in her chest she swore it was going to burst . "before you make judgment and rip her throat out please consider thatfact that you don't even know the crime she committed, afterall, the best packs running are ones that share ideas and knowledge. We as Canister Lupis are not robots..." A shaky voice finished as she found herself sitting upwards triumphantly at her speech.
Soon though, she let her soulful eyes linger their way across the ground up Atlas's paws and eventually to his face to meet whatever feelings he had about her opening her mouth. Her past experiences with males have not been positive and she feared slightly for the beating she might receive from the friendly appearing male who earlier had I indeed cared for her health.. But that could all have changed.

Atlas was confused and slightly shocked by Kairis' speech. He started to do many things, but his first response was anger. His brows rumpled and his teeth flashed for a moment. The hairs on his nape pricked as he stood up, raising his tail. "How dare you insult my alpha and my loyalty?! What if? There are no 'what if's'. The alpha is always right. He would only order me to do the right things. My alpha is no traitor! He instructs and builds our state of mind, making the whole pack run smoothly and efficiently. He knows what is right, and if he says these wolves have commited crimes, then they have."He calmed down as he spoke, feeling comfort in his own words. "How would you know of the strength and unity of a pack? If you ask such questions you obviously have never belonged to a pack like Argess."He sat down again, in his upright position. She had looked into his face again, and his stomach flip-flopped. The green eyes seemed to bore into his being, and impacted him so much that his hurt. He leaned forward and coughed. Why was this happening? She was just a female. A lovely, beautiful, elegant . . . He shook his head quickly, jubbling the thoughts. Deep, Deep, down there was a quiet feeling that she was right, but Atlas barely noticed it. His years of training and brain-washing had all but erased the normal judgment and morals he should've had. He flicked his ears in annoyance. "Would you be willing to tell me what type's of wolves you've scented in this area? I need a good lead."

The fae trembled a bit, she should have known his reaction. She should have just held her tounge... ah but alas, that is Kairis's down fall. She is known to be an open minded and curious wolf often times feeling the need to make her opinion heard... it might be some sort of way to establish herself in a way that doesn't need strength.
She listened intently as his athorative vocie spoke and she couldn't help but divert her eyes slightly, not wanting to make eye contact with the angered male. The alpha is alway right.. she should have known that that is the way the male would feel. Coming from such a large pack, there had to be emense loyalty to run an opperation that big. Breathe in, breathe out... She closed her eyes tightly and then only dared to open them at the end of his speech, after a sharp toned question.
"I have only sented wolves from days ago, nothing too recent... But then again I haven't really explored this terra yet..." Kairis spoke freely but with a hint of dissatisfaction at how the situation seemed to be headed. Her emerald green eyes slowly wandered towered the rabbit carcass and a slight smiled played at her muzzle, whiskers twitching. Kairis shifted her weight to her front and then stretched daintfully wondering if there was possible anything she could do to bring the smile back to Atlas's face... He looked best with it on.
Tilting her head Kairis rummaged for words and managed to say "Atlas, I'm sorry... I was outspoken and ... And I guess I do not really know the inner workings of a pack... I have no family.." she took in a breath and looked down wondering if she would enjoy life better if she had wolves to rely on and care for.

Atlas' pride left him, and at her apology, his brows softened. He felt sorry for Kairis, who had no family and no pack. Atlas had never been on his own until now, and already he had known the feelings of lonliness that it came with. But even so, he did not feel very forgiving of her accusations.
"Nevermind." He simply said, not wanting to chew over the matter again. He could tell she wanted very much to be on better terms with him. And though it was strange to admit it to himself, he wanted to be on good terms with her as well; to please her. It was another feeling he tried to rid himself of.
"It would be most helpful if you would lead me to those old scents. Little lead is better than none. Of course if you must be going, I will understand."
He stood up on his big paws and looked upon her beautiful face with a concrete expression. His stomach flip flopped once again, but he did his best not to betray his inner commotions on his own face. He thought of Argess and if any other females he had known had ever made him feel this way. It was then he realized he had never really known any other females besides his mother, whom he had been seperated from very early in life. It was the Argess way to take pups early and begin training them, in order to keep them disiplined and from forming bad habits and ideas. Males and females were seperated as pups, and mating only occured between appoved couples in order to create the best offspring, except of course for two or three females during the year that had not been approved, and had given birth anyway. It was suspected that the alpha fathered those litters.
And so he deduced that he had never really had an open association with a female. It was something he had never considered before, and the realization frightened him the smallest bit. As if everthing Kairis had said was absolute truth, and his whole life, a lie. He snorted, quickly blowing away the doubt as well as the pollen.

Her head lifted at the sound of his voice. To Kairis it seemed as if the male was dismissing her earlier statements and she blew out a trembling breath. She had better watch her tounge from now on.. outspoken words are bound to get her in trouble with this wolf. Her eyes focus on the white patches on either side of his face and her head tilted to the left, and then to the right as she scrambled through her memory to remember where exactly it was that she had smelled those wolves.
Briskly she stood up, her white fur tainted brown from the dirt she had been sitting in and shook her coat ferverishly. Her pink tounge flopped out of the side of her black lined lips before she replyed blunty "I have nowhere else to be.. so yes sir, I could show you where I had sented the wolves," With that she leaped off in the direction of the near forest hoping that Atlas would not wait too long and follow her.. She didn't want him to get lost... or for her to get lost either.
Kairis' long white tail was held up high, making sure that the masculine wolf would be able to spot her easliy as she darted between trees and scurried under bushes with incredible agility. "you coming soldier boy?" she teased and raised on eyebrow at him before she took off again. It wasn't far now, only a hope and a bound before she would come across the clearing, and the long dead fawn carcass she had discovered in her hunger only to find that there was nothing left on its bones for her even to pick at. Kairis wasn't sure why all of a sudden she felt a rush of excitment. Really, she hadn't a reason for happiness.. she was alone, starving.. and cold but she always got a joy out of running. It was embedded into her system like that.
Her nose snuffled the ground and it was the area around the deer carcass that smelled strongest of wolf... male maybe? Kairis wasn't quite sure since the sent was very very old.. probably close to a month. She snapped a a crow that flew down and landed on the carcass cawing annoyingly into her ear and it then took flight again, just missing the fangs of the white female. "Right here is where I sented the wolf, Im not sure if it will help much since it is quite old..." Her worried vocie trailed off hoping the she would be able to help Atlas in some way or another.

"you coming soldier boy?" Atlas rolled his eyes, and made a growl too low to hear. She was only teasing, but it was something else he was not accustomed too. At home he held very high rank. Teasing was not tolerated or allowed. Neither were playing and giving much affection. The only thing that might be considered play were the pack's mock fights that were used in order to train and build defensive skill. Not play.
She led him along, finally coming to an old fawn carcass. The wolf she had scented had most likely killed and devoured it here. There was nothing left of it. Kairis had been right about the scent being old, and as Atlas brought it into his nasal cavity, he couldn't be sure about the wolf who left it. He trotted around to the surrounding trees, looking for urine spots. He found one. He could tell it was most likely male, and felt a hint of optimism. It was the first wolf scent in weeks. It was not Songbird and that troubled him, but he would find her. There was no doubt whatsoever about that.
It was then that something came to him. Being a pack-needing wolf, it was obvious to him really.
"I have a proposition for you, Kairis." He turned to her gravely, radiating seriousness.
"You say you have no where else to be . . . How would it suit if you were to come along and assist me for a few miles. Two noses are more efficient than one; And if at any time you get the notion to leave, simply go your own way."
He sat down bolt upright as usual.
"What do you think?" He said in a low tone.

She watched curiously as the male sniffed around, he had picked up the sent and she watched his face carefully trying to figure out what he was thinking. Her green eyes flickered from Atlas to the deer carcass and then behind her. In truth, Kairis was desperately scared of the wolf leaving her. She had been so lonely and the idea of a companion thrilled her... and now she wondered if she had made the right choice in bringing him here. Most likely he will get the trail and then head off after his duty... Her tail curled around herself and the white female felt a bit safer, and stronger too. She couldn't show weakness, it was primal instinct to eliminate the weak ones so keeping up a tough image could mean life of death..
"I have a proposition for you, Kairis." She lifted her head quickly and made eye contact with the wolf, wondering what it was he was offering. She could read the seriousness in his features and sat attentive waiting to hear is deep voice again, though she was slightly timid about it what if it would be somethign along the lines of "you must not tell anyone I was here or you will be hunted down and killed" Kairis shifted her weight from left paw to right paw and her ears flickered. "You say you have no where else to be . . . How would it suit if you were to come along and assist me for a few miles. Two noses are more efficient than one; And if at any time you get the notion to leave, simply go your own way."
She sat there open mouthed and paused. Was her serious? Kairis narrowed her eyes and sniffed the air. It didn't look or smell as if he was lying.. She lifted her left foot up in the air curiously and thought about it. he could provide shelter, help hunt and just company just for her simple nose. If wolves could blush she would have, knowing that she was in fact attracted to Atlas, who wouldn't be? He was strong and intelligent, alpha like material.
"Atlas, I would happily accompany you in your journeys.." She stated and let her eyes glint with happiness and freedom. "Your... your not just joking around are you..?" she questioned still wondering if maybe he had a funny streak she didn't know of yet. kairis whined softly and let her tail wag back and forth, this was the best thing that had happened to her in awhile! She thought back to her last few months of dealing with nature herself and of the cold and wet nights she had spent curled up under a tree byself because she could not find shelter that night.
Suddenly Kairis got up onto four paws and crouched down playfully with excitment, and then stopped. She should know better, of course Atlas wouldn't share her excitment. She wasn't providing anything for his exept her nose... but either way Kairis didn't care if the feeling was mutual she was just plain happy to be offered this. "Thank you Atlas.." Kairis responded and smiled, a genuine smile that wasn't often seen on her fine feminine features. kairis knew that to him, she might be seen as a burden but she appreciated the offer all the more, she swore to herself she wouldn't let herself get in the way and ony help... the hardest part for her would be not forming a bond with this male because when it came time for him the return to his pack she refused to become heartbroken again.
