Little sparrow, little sparrow
Precious fragile little thing
Little sparrow, little sparrow
Flies so high and feels no pain.
Name: Sparrow
Gender: Male
Age: 11 Months
Eyes: A vibrant shade of hazel.
Fur: Sparrow’s coat is a mixture of chestnut and deep mahogany.
Appearance: His body is quite small, even for his age. He looks like fragile one, and anyone who makes that assumption is correct.
Small and seemingly breakable, Sparrow makes up for his size with his open mind and heart.
He appears to be a very brave and independent wolf, but some believe him to be lost in truth. His naïve dreams and stories make him appear weak and vulnerable, confused over his surroundings.
To some, he may seem strong, but to most, he is just a foolish pup with wild dreams that will get him nowhere.
Personality: Sparrow is a rambunctious pup with an imagination too big for his body. His dreams reach far passed the clouds and he refuses to let them drift away.
He doesn’t believe that there is such a thing as a lie, and tells the truth without thinking. He hasn’t once lied to anyone, or himself, but perhaps his dreams lie to him all the time…
He sees through lies with difficulty, and is gullible to a high extent; for him, nothing is impossible.
Sparrow refuses to be called a child, or a weakling, although much to his dismay, he is. Independent through his undying spirit, he believes in fairytales as facts. Perhaps it is a weakness that he can’t face the truth of his dreams, or perhaps it is the strength of his beliefs that leads him to be such a strong character.
Sparrow makes his own decisions and naïve as he is, will take in all information, whether it be wrong or right.
He’s an open-hearted, open-minded kind of wolf, and promises that one day, he will fly.
Strengths:
- Open-minded and considerate.
- Brave and Independent.
- Contagiously joyful.
- Speed and flexibility.
Weaknesses:
- Extremely gullible.
- Often too independent.
- Horrible at fighting.
History: Originally, Sparrow’s name was Leonardo. Having been raised in a tiny family that consisted only of his mother, his father and two other siblings, Leonardo was the runt of the litter.
He was rambunctious and over-spirited, often superbly energized and involved in play. His brother and sister found him annoying at times, what with his urges to move about and explore. It was clear to everyone that he was an explorer, opening his eyes before any of his siblings and being the first to take a step.
Leonardo was not content with the limits of his family’s tiny territory. He sought more than that; he sought adventure, exploration, he sought freedom!
And so, on his seventh month, Leo forsook his family and set off into the wild in search of a greater destiny, believing that there was always an adventure beyond the horizon.
Leonardo renamed himself as Sparrow, after the bird that he awoke everyday to see flying off into the horizon, independent and free. He killed with every rare chance he got, on the brink of starvation through his first weeks alone.
He lived another month of his life with a couple other loners, switching from wolf to wolf to use as his protector, hunter and source of company. Sparrow spoke of many stories, the things that he planned to do when he grew up, and the journeys he already came to know of as “legendary.”
His company tired of him quickly, and so again, he would move on to another.
Sparrow went through a lot of famines throughout his short life so far, and no doubt will go through more, at this pace. But even if he keeps his spirit up, keeps running towards that horizon, maybe one day he will find his true source of freedom.

On my little sparrow wings
