Exhausted from dwaling about within the vibrant meadow, a small, feminine wolf collapsed into the welcoming grass. She perked her head up, ears erect and, after a moment, parted her dark lips and allowed her tongue to loll out, partially to the side. She gazed upon the pasture, sighing contentedly as she lazily counted the different colors of flowers that covered the meadow's tall but ever-soft grass in a colorful veil. The lush grass was very tall at this time of year, which only made romping through it all the more enjoyable.
Sighing again and laughing to herself some, she rolled over onto her back, pushing the grass and plants dawn awkwardly, causing some flowers and weeds to curl over into the small indent the female had made in the ample field. She smiled, her dark eyes twinkling, and surveyed the bright blue sky, making shapes out of the fluffy white clouds.
It had been some time since she quaint, sandy female had been at such ease. For weeks, she had wandered the endless plains and flourishing forests, feeling beaten down and lacking purpose. She hadn't the slightest idea what her reason for being was anymore and began to dwell on the idea enough that her sense of self began to diminish. Her cause for such a depressing state was, cliche or not, a broken - or rather, abandoned heart.
Before her desertion, the fae had been at her happiest, her heart set on forever enjoying the company of who she thought would be her one and only. He was a wolf much, much different from herself, but the two couldn't seem to tear themselves apart from one another. However, such peace never lasts and, before she knew it, she was again just another young, dispersed female who lacked socialization.
She knew that she would need to find something, or preferably someone, in order to permanently ascend from her disoriented state of mind. And so, she had continueously roamed the plains, returning to the meadow as often as possible. It had become her favorite place, as it always made her feel cheerful. The only downside was that in made her feel truly tiny. Which, in fact, she was. Despite her being an adult and supposedly past the awkward stage wolves go through during adolescence, she lived seemingly permanently stuck in said form. With clumsily large paws, ears and nose, she often found herself blundering around, looking rather foolish and much like the juvenille many perceived her to be.
However, despite her small figure, she was a very ample, successfully graceful wolf with a bite rather than a bark. She wasn't a very tempered wolf, not easily angered to the point of violence, but it only made her a more lethal attacker because of it. Her calm allowed her to lash out unexpectedly, which made her rather pleased with herself on the inside, though her modesty would never let it show.
Not to mention her ability to be extremely graceful. Despite her clumsy features, she trained herself to manage a very balletic posture and movements when in the presence of other who she percieved as superior or equal. However, when alone or with someone very trusted, her need to please wore off very easily and a more at-ease version of herself would take over.
Unfortunately, in this seemingly deserted meadow, it didn't seem as though any wolf would have the chance to see such features. But the ever-patient female was perfectly willing to wait.

Hours of travelling finally caught up to the massive creature as he trotted briskly along at such a pace, as if he had a purpose or destination when in fact it was quite the oposite. His obsinian coat could not been seen as he kept to the shadows of the tree that scarcely bordered on the outsirts of the meadows and grasslands he was passing through. He stopped and let the wind ruffle his fur and he sighed, blinking his oddly bright and sharp yellow eyes and lowered his head. This land was so different compared to his home had had made in the far up and the quite and isolated wilderness of the mountains. Ameer followed the elk herds as they made their way to their winter grazing lands on the other side of the mountain so he followed them for food, and then soon had to survive and very little, he was lucky if he caught a rabbit. Usually the meal of a mouse would have to do.
A deep throated growl escaped him as he picked up an unfamiliar sent in the air. Loner. The dark brute bristled and flashed his fangs at the thought of another male encounter. So far none of them had been pleasant... except one odd wolf. Little Sparrow. The memory of the sandy colored young ,male made Ameer feel kind inside. Something about that wolf had really warmed his way into the heart of the massive fighter. Instead of turning away, he followed it and the closer her got, he soon realised that the sent of of a female and Ameer became very unsure. It had been such a long time since he had seen, let alone talked to a female wolf....
He folded his ears back and halted, not sure if he should enter into the meadow that was covered in flowers or not. If a shake of his massive head and ruff, the loner crouched low and moved his way through the flowers, trying to keep as low as possible in the colors so she would not spot him straight away.. Grumbling to himself somewhat at the bees and butterflies that flew up his nostrils he sneezed and then lifted his head. From here he could see her small frame and noticed she was rolling joyfully in the flowers as she laughed. His gut twisted as he felt shaky and overthrown with the presence of the female but he couldn`t go back now... she must be able to sent that he was getting closer. suddenly she lifted his muzzle and howled a short not to get her attention before collecting himself mentally and physically before trotting off to investage.
As he got closer the masculine black wolf noticed how much bigger he was than her, it wasn`t a suprise though, in fact Ameer was quite used to the gocking and awing at his oddly large body, to the point he often felt like a sideshow amusment, the creature of black swamp, like he had two head. The brute grimaced slightly at the memories but than looked at the fae and bowed his head respectably. being alone for so long had taken a beating to this males social skills. He used to be an alpha for gods sake! The male sighed inwardly and searched for the right greeting. A simple hello could divert her away and Ameer didn`t really want to see this petie fae run off on him...
"Hello there madam, may I ask why you are out here alone? Bear and cougar have been sented in this area recently... you may want to get back to your pack." He stated athoratively but with a light, wolfy smile that seemed awkward and not hiself. Lying didn't appeal much to the male but he could see no harm in this little white lie... and in fact he did sent a cougar in the area though the sent was probably a few weeks old by now....
Dropping his nose to the ground he looked away to avoid the look of un-amusment she may give him or the harsh judgement he had seen in the eyes of so many before, Ameer was tough and a very skilled and talented fighter but he had his own weaknesses. Females, pups, family... and he was defficient when it came to the subject of "love". He had never experienced it and could not controlled the awkard, queasy feelings that rushed though him at times when he would be with a pretty fae. Shuffling his paws she puffed out his chest and looked at her with a fake hard glare. He would not let first impression of him be soft and weak, Ameer did not want anyone to ever think of him as soft and weak, to the point he has only ever lost one fight to this day, he had a reputation to keep up and in his old home he was a greatly respected wolf, a leader in fact..
But his look was quickly subdued to the fact that her rich brown eyes told of unknown friendship and genuine happiness at one time.. how the male longed to roll in the grass and laugh like he had seen her doing. It was a near impossible challenge for him, a mental challenge of letting himself go, of not caring what others thought of him... it would take a lot of work to get over that hurdle. His train of thought was soon disrupted by another sent on the breeze, yes it was clear that there was another wolf close by and the male growled and then looked at the stanger and growled hoping that he hadn`t been lured into a trap... and with his luck he probably had.

It wasn't often that Vana was caught wandering around looking for people. On this particular day, it was sunny and bright, and any other wolf would be seen lounging in the sun and enjoying the warm rays that it offered. With the sweet smell of grass now hanging heavily in the air due to the warm summer months, it wasn't expected to be a large day of exploration for the wolf species. At least not in the daylight, anyways. And for Vana, as she was a black wolf who heated up easily in the sunlight, it was a strange sight to see her around and about, sniffing and exploring.
Through the trees and the grass she wandered, looking for something to soothe her boredom. Vana wasn't a very outspoken wolf, always holding her tongue from lashing out at people. Her boredom wasn't apparent, and her eyes were calm and her mind almost settled. However, she knew that if she laid around for too long her high work ethic would be pushing her to get up and do something productive. So up and about she went, dusting off her paws, wiping the sleep from her eyes, and padded off into the middle of the woods. She wasn't all that hungry, as only a few hours ago she had taken down a few rabbits to fill her for at least the afternoon. She knew it was a tad risky heading into the woods, knowing full well that this was a normal hunting hour and she could be targeted. Either that, or she would scare off someone's prey. A little chuckle escaped her lips, though, as she brushed it off without a care.
For the next few hours, she walked around the woods, looking for someone or something to occupy her focus. But alas, there was nothing. She had wandered the forest all day, and nothing had come at her. Folding her dark, smokey legs under her, she slowly lowered herself onto the ground with a day's worth of disappointment inside her. But just as she was beginning to close her eyes, she heard a small, short howl not too far off, past the edge of the trees. Pricking her ears up, she immediately hopped back up off her belly and set back towards the edge of the woods. Her light green eyes peered curiously into the field, seeing a small frame rolling around in the grass rather clearly. She kept her position behind the large tree trunks for a few minutes, seeing if anyone else was around. Sure enough, after a small wait, a large, lumbering black figure sauntered out to greet her.
Vana watched the two for a moment as the black male exchanged a few words with her. Unsure of whether or not to walk out, her decision was made when the male growled for anyone else who was listening to hear. The curved, beautiful femora strode out as well, head held mid-level and her long tail swinging behind her easily. The she-devil strode up beside the two, in clear vision of both. She looked down at the smaller female, noting how puppy-ish she looked but how much older her eyes told her to be. Perhaps her age, though perhaps a little younger. Vana looked to the male, a gruff, high-powered guy who clearly had either a thirst for power within him or a need to be seen as a "true man". She nodded to the both of them, staying silent for a few moments.
"Vana Mour, and you two are?" She asked, her voice a smooth, glossy colour that fit her overall appearance. A soft blink, and she waited for the answer.
